Vinson & Elkins has expanded its practice in China by opening an office in Hong Kong, giving the Houston-based firm four offices in Asia.
Jay Cuclis, a partner who coordinates the firm’s international practice, moved to Hong Kong in August to run the outpost for the 720-lawyer firm. He says the Law Society of Hong Kong notified the firm on Aug. 25 that it had approved V&E’s application to open the office.
