The Federal Communications Commission removed the merger of AT&T Inc. and BellSouth Corp. from the agenda for the open meeting Nov. 3.
The decision late Thursday, to drop a vote to approve the deal comes after weeks of negotiations between the commissioners on conditions that AT&T would have to follow after the $80 billion merger is completed.
