In the ongoing sexual abuse case against the socialite and writer Leila Hadley Luce, the attorney for the plaintiffs has been sanctioned for speaking to and releasing court documents to members of the media, including the New York Law Journal.

The attorney, solo practitioner John A. Aretakis, was originally ordered to retrieve the documents at a hearing in July before Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Debra A. James.
