Professor Nora V. Demleitner has been named interim dean of Hofstra University School of Law, replacing Aaron Twerski, who last month announced his resignation following quadruple bypass surgery.
Demleitner, 40, has been a member of the law school faculty since 2001 and has served as the vice dean for academic affairs for the past year. She is the first woman to lead the law school in its 37-year history.
