L. Branch Connelly, the law partner of Summerville, Ga., criminal defense attorney Bobby Lee Cook, died last week of a gunshot wound.
Connelly’s death is being investigated as a suicide, said Georgia Bureau of Investigation spokesman John Bankhead. The investigation is ongoing. An autopsy has been completed, but the report has not been issued yet, he said.
