The recent salary increases for new associates throughout the United States may be having a ripple effect across the Atlantic Ocean.

New York’s Weil, Gotshal & Manges recently boosted pay for newly qualified lawyers in London from 75,000 to 90,000 British pounds, the equivalent of more than $179,000 in U.S. dollars at the current exchange rate.
