Ropes & Gray has hired a partner in Hong Kong.

Andrew Dale was most recently a partner at Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe, specializing in anticorruption investigations and compliance work. He has represented Hong Kong-listed companies on inquiries by the Securities and Futures Commission and U.S.-listed companies on Foreign Corrupt Practices Act issues in China. Dale's Hong Kong qualification will add local law capacity to Ropes & Gray's Asia investigations team.

Dale joined Orrick in 2007 as of counsel and became a partner in 2010. Previously, he was a senior associate at Paul Hastings for two years and an associate at legacy Lovells for nearly eight years, all in Hong Kong.
