Hogan Lovells has hired a three-lawyer intellectual property team in Hong Kong, bringing on Alan Chiu and Eugene Low as partners and Kenny Wong as senior consultant from Mayer Brown JSM.

Chiu specializes in anticounterfeiting enforcement, having acted for brands in the fashion, luxury, pharmaceuticals and food and beverage industries on court proceedings and Customs seizures. He started his career with legacy Johnson Stokes & Master in 2002 as a trainee, stayed through the 2008 merger with Mayer Brown and was promoted to partner in 2013.

Low advises on privacy policy, data breach, data retention during government investigations and intellectual property related international trade disputes. He joined legacy Johnson Stokes & Master in 2003 and was a senior associate before joining Hogan Lovells.
