Let's be honest. If you're thinking of law school, you'll probably happily sacrifice your favorite aged relative to get into Harvard Law School. Sure, Yale and Stanford are smaller and arguably more elitist law schools, but Harvard is still Harvard—and for many, that's enough.

So what can you do to get into Harvard's pearly gates? Is it all about sky-high GPAs and LSAT scores? Perhaps no longer.

A recent article in The Harvard Crimson suggests that HLS is changing its priorities. In a nutshell, Harvard is taking a longer view of who should be admitted, and is not so keen on bright-eye young pups who've just graduated from college. Reports The Crimson:
