Just over a year after opening an office in Denver, Wilmer Cutler Pickering Hale and Dorr continues to grow its Rocky Mountain outpost with the addition of energy and natural resources partner Andrew Spielman. The former co-head of Hogan Lovells’ energy and natural resources group is the sixth partner to join Wilmer’s Denver office.

Spielman will join Wilmer partners Kenneth Salazar and Thomas Strickland, who opened the office in early 2014. Salazar had previously served as head of the U.S. Department of the Interior and was a junior U.S. senator from Colorado. Strickland worked as Salazar’s chief of staff at the Interior Department before joining Wilmer in 2011.
