China's Broad & Bright Hires Siemens In-house Counsel
Libin Zhang returns to the firm two years after leaving it to head the German company's Asia in-house M&A team.

Chinese firm Broad & Bright has hired a corporate partner in Beijing.
Libin Zhang was most recently a Beijing-based corporate counsel heading Siemens Ltd.'s in-house M&A team in Asia and Australia. Zhang advises foreign companies on their investments in China and Chinese companies on outbound investment, especially in the energy, construction and infrastructure sector. He had represented clients including oil company Amoco Corp., Prudential Financial Inc. and ABB Ltd.
Zhang joined Siemens in 2012 after spending two years as a partner at Broad & Bright. Between 2006 and 2010, he was a Beijing partner with Houston-based Baker Botts. Before that, he was a Beijing-based in-house lawyers at ABB for a year. Earlier in his career, he worked with White & Case and Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison in Beijing and Shanghai.
