Covington & Burling brought on litigation and investigations partner MITCHELL KAMIN in Los Angeles from his role as co-managing partner of local litigation boutique Bird, Marella, Boxer, Wolpert, Nessim, Drooks, Lincenburg & Rhow.

Kamin, who specializes in civil litigation and white-collar work, joined Bird Marella in 2010 after he spent the previous eight years as president and CEO of Bet Tzedek Legal Services, one of the nation’s largest nonprofit firms. Federal tax records show that Kamin earned $214,674 from Bet Tzedek during his last year at the organization, which was founded by a group of Jewish lawyers in 1974.
