Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy has hired corporate partner Casey Fleck in Los Angeles.

Fleck, who advises companies, investment banks and private equity funds on corporate restructurings, M&A deals and securities offerings, heads to Milbank from Latham & Watkins.

Asked what prompted his decision to leave Latham, which he joined in 2012 from Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom, Fleck said he had collaborated on past deals with partners at his new firm, including Marc Hanrahan and Rod Miller in New York, as well as Los Angeles managing partner and global corporate leader Kenneth Baronsky. (Hanrahan is a member of Milbank's executive committee, while Miller joined the firm in 2011 from Weil, Gotshal & Manges.)
