Former Sedgwick partner Traci Ribeiro, who left the firm last month after settling a gender bias suit against the firm earlier this year, has found a new home at Foran Glennon Palandech Ponzi & Rudloff.

Reached by phone late Tuesday, Ribeiro (pictured right) declined to discuss her departure from Sedgwick and referred inquiries to her new firm's press release, which noted that she will join Foran Glennon's Chicago office with former Sedgwick insurance coverage and litigation counsel James Baffa. The two were part of a group of several Sedgwick lawyers leaving different offices at the firm after Labor Day.

In New York, Sedgwick's former local managing partner and insurance practice head John Blancett led a team heading to British firm Kennedys, which in May agreed to absorb New Jersey-based Carroll, McNulty & Kull, a 100-lawyer firm known for its insurance expertise. The combined firm is now known in the U.S. as Kennedys CMK.
