The 2017 financial results—and the gap between the Am Law 100 and the Second Hundred—highlight the stratification in the legal industry. While 15 Am Law 100 firms posted double-digit increases in gross revenue, just eight Second Hundred firms did. The Second Hundred saw revenues dip as a group, while the Am Law 100 had one of its best years in a long time.
