Have you ever wondered what it would be like to launch a cannabis practice?
Fox Rothschild partner Joshua Horn made the plunge a few years ago after a trip to Colorado in the early days of recreational marijuana.
Now the former securities litigator focuses full time on cannabis law, advising clients on employment issues, licensing, banking, real estate and staying ahead of legal changes in a fast-moving sector.
In this week's 20-minute podcast, Horn talks to Law.com reporter Cheryl Miller, author of the cannabis law newsletter Higher Law. Horn explains about what it's like to work with clients in a controversial industry and shares the advice he gives colleagues who are eyeing the cannabis space. The Philadelphia-based lawyer also offers his prediction for whether New York, New Jersey or Pennsylvania will be first to legalize adult-use marijuana.
