For the ninth year in a row, I had the privilege of attending one of New York society's most iconic events: the Central Park Conservancy's Hat Luncheon (a.k.a, the Ladies Hat Party), where I was the guest of a gracious senior bank counsel. The event on Wednesday raised over $4 million for New York's favorite park, and, as always, former New York mayor Michael Bloomberg held court as one of the few men in attendance.
