Two firms dropped from the Am Law 100 to the Second Hundred this year: Shook, Hardy & Bacon and Husch Blackwell. Meanwhile, four firms moved into the Am Law 200. They are Butler Snow, debuting at No. 155; Spencer Fane (188); Hodgson Russ (195); and Nexsen Pruet (197). On this chart, gross revenue figures are rounded to the nearest $1,000. Profits per partner and revenue per lawyer figures are also rounded to the nearest $1,000. New firms receive "N/A" in the "Change From 2017" columns.
