Gross revenue for the Second Hundred increased in 2018 by more than 3 percent, rebounding from a slight decrease in 2017. The Second Hundred's growth rate falls short of the Am Law 100, which showed an 8 percent increase in average gross revenue in 2018.
While 26 Am Law 100 firms posted double-digit increases in gross revenue, just 11 Second Hundred firms did. Among the Second Hundred firms, Clark Hill had the largest increase, 52.8 percent. Two Second Hundred firms had double-digit declines in gross revenue. LeClairRyan posted the largest decline, 13.9 percent.
