LeClairRyan, which has confirmed it is shutting down amid partner losses and revenue declines, got welcome news on Thursday when a Virginia judge tossed a $603 million malpractice suit against the firm.

The dissolving firm is also close to a settlement in another legal malpractice suit alleging the firm botched the discovery process in an underlying trademark infringement case.
