Overall lawyer head count for the Global Second Hundred firms was 56,585 in 2018. Forty-one of the firms had 600 or more lawyers. Twelve of the firms had more than 700 lawyers.

Fifty-two firms have the largest proportion of their lawyers in the United States, 12 have the largest proportion of their lawyers in the United Kingdom and nine have a plurality of their lawyers in China. The number of lawyers listed here is the average ­full-time-equivalent for the 2018 fiscal year. (For United Kingdom-based firms, the number of lawyers is the average full-time equivalent for the fiscal year ending April 30).
