Gross revenue for the Second Hundred increased in 2019 by 5%, outperforming the group's 3% increase in 2018. The Second Hundred's growth rate matches the Am Law 100, which also showed a 5% increase in average gross revenue in 2019.

While 32 Am Law 100 firms posted double-digit increases in gross revenue, just 21 Second Hundred firms did. Among the Second Hundred firms, Burr & Forman had the largest increase, 31.2%. One Second Hundred firm had a double-digit decline in gross revenue: Irell & Manella, at 12%.
