ShutterstockThe hearing committee of the District of Columbia Court of Appeals' professional responsibility board signed off on the negotiated petition on Tuesday, but the agreement still must be approved by the court.
If accepted, the suspension will be retroactive to June 28, 2018, allowing Schulman to seek reinstatement to the bar in roughly one year.
