Eversheds Sutherland is adding two partners to one of its key practices, state and local tax, as the firm seeks to bulk up its Midwest and West Coast presence.

Breen Schiller will join the firm’s Chicago office Monday from Horwood Marcus & Berk, where she chaired its SALT practice group. Nikki Dobay will join Eversheds’ Sacramento office in the next few weeks from the Council on State Taxation (COST), a Washington, D.C.-based trade group, where she had been senior tax counsel, according to a Wednesday announcement from the firm.
