Two Am Law 100 firms, Hogan Lovells and Littler Mendelson, have recently made public announcements that their respective firms will allow for paid time off on Nov. 3 for employees to vote or take part in other civic-minded activity aimed at raising voter turnout in what is expected to be a hotly contested election season with a lot on the line.

The announcements come less than two weeks after Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo; Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe; Jenner & Block and Fenwick & West all announced similar initiatives.
