Progress toward gender equality in the equity partner ranks has been slow industrywide. But for the 60 law firms recognized by Working Mother magazine as the best law firms for women this year, it has at least been steady.

The full list consists mostly of Big Law firms. Three firms—Dorsey & Whitney, Katten and WilmerHale—were recognized for making the list 13 years in a row. Around 100 firms applied to be recognized by Working Mothers, which considers demographics, mentorship programs and flexible work policies in deciding which ones make the list.
