Greenberg Traurig is offering tenure-based buyouts to full-time staff as law firms across the industry look to reduce their employee rosters.

In a statement, a firm spokesperson said Greenberg has not cut pay or furloughed employees this year. The decision to offer a buyout program was not made because of economic shortfalls, but in anticipation of future client and attorney needs, the spokesperson said.
