Since COVID-19 arrived in the United States over eight months ago, firms have proved they could smoothly pivot to remote work. Demand has remained robust. And now, there are signs that the collections experience, too, will steer clear of their worst-case scenarios.

Several firms with fiscal years that closed at the end of September report that clients have been largely compliant in paying bills promptly. But they also worked hard to ensure that outcome.
