Associates are clinging to their jobs as the pandemic rages on, causing lower levels of associate attrition at law firms. But many firm leaders say they are undaunted and will continue to recruit large classes of associates for the foreseeable future.

Leaders at firms such as Greenberg Traurig, McGuireWoods and Reed Smith say anecdotally that associate attrition has slowed in the pandemic.
