Reed Smith has brought on the former leader of another large firm’s payment technology practice, as the Pittsburgh-founded Am Law 50 firm looks to steer resources to practice areas it expects to be most impactful in 2021 and beyond.

Reed Smith announced Wednesday that it has added New York partner Stephen Aschettino, Loeb & Loeb’s former payments technology practice chair and co-leader of the firm’s blockchain technology practice.
