John Quinn's declaration that Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan will hire partners outside of its office footprint was significant if only because the admission represents the biggest firm who has committed to such a strategy. But will this strategy, which Quinn describes as "hiring the best litigators wherever they're sitting," become mainstream in Big Law?
