Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison has brought on a high profile M&A partner from Sullivan & Cromwell, New York-based Krishna Veeraraghavan, in another move signaling the firm’s growth intentions and ambitions to work with more technology-sector clients.

Paul Weiss said Veeraraghavan is “one of the nation’s leading M&A deal lawyers,” noting his work on Amazon’s $13.7 billion acquisition of Whole Foods, Praxair’s $80 billion merger with Linde as well as AB InBev’s $123 billion merger with SABMiller. Besides Amazon, he’s also advised Broadcom, Genesis Robotics, Unisys and other tech clients in deals.
