Jones Day is shaking up its U.S. leadership by naming Washington, D.C., partner-in-charge Kevyn Orr to the newly created role of partner-in-charge overseeing the firm’s 18 U.S. offices.

Stephen Brogan, who ascended from D.C. partner-in-charge to Jones Day managing partner in at the start of 2003, will continue to lead the firm. But by creating a new role in top firm management—apart from managing partner—Jones Day is part of a wave of firms moving to multi-attorney leadership.
