Laterals in health care, government and corporate practices continue to be in demand as 2021 rolls on, while real estate and insurance also took center stage this week. And another two partners left Boies Schiller Flexner

London-based Boies partner Ken Beale joined 23 of his former colleagues at King & Spalding this week. Beale, an international arbitration attorney, is at least the 12th attorney to leave Boies in 2021, and is one of six office leaders who have now departed the firm in the last year. Four of those office leaders landed at King & Spalding. In addition to losing Beale, the firm also said that New York partner Jack Stern was leaving the firm, moving over to Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft, the same firm that landed former Boies firm co-managing partner Nick Gravante in December of 2020.
