Holland & Knight has picked up a practice leader in technology and transactions from Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe, as the Miami-based firm seeks more opportunities in tech-driven deals.

Holland this week said it added Glynna Christian, a partner in Chicago who will head the firm’s global technology and transactions practice. Christian, who advises clients in corporate and commercial deals, most recently co-chaired a similar group for San Francisco-based Orrick.
