Despite the turmoil and upheaval brought on by the pandemic, Davis Wright Tremaine didn’t alter its strategy much: expenses grew, bucking the industrywide trend, and the firm brought on 14 lateral partners, a figure in-line with a typical year.

And yet, the firm saw a 7.5% increase in gross revenue year over year, from $414 million in 2019 to $445 million in 2020. Revenue per lawyer (RPL) grew 6.1%, from $786,000 to $834,000.
