“Casual Friday” has now become “casual every day,” with relaxed work attire a common feature of video calls. But should partners hang up their suits for good?

“In all my Zoom meetings—and I’ve had hundreds—no one is wearing a suit and no one is wearing a tie,” says a partner at a U.K. top 50 firm. “Maybe a casual button down shirt, but equally people are wearing polo tops too.”
