McDermott Will & Emery is planning to open an office in Singapore, according to five people with knowledge of the matter, marking the firm’s return to Asia.
McDermott exited the region last year, shuttering its office in China in June. It also closed its office in South Korea in 2019. But now it is planning a return to the region, this time with the launch of an office in Singapore.
