Boies Schiller Flexner New York partner Ian Dumain has left to join Cyrulnik Fattaruso, a New York-based litigation boutique founded in March by former Roche Freedman attorneys Jason Cyrulnik and Paul Fattaruso, following a falling-out between Cyrulnik and his former firm.

Dumain joins Cyrulnik Fattaruso as a partner and general counsel. He worked at Boies Schiller for 12 years and said that his departure is less about his former firm, which has lost more than 50 partners in the past year, and more about the opportunity to join his new firm.
