Revenue and profits dipped at a slimmed-down Katten Muchin Rosenman in 2020, due to a slowdown in real estate and litigation in the early months of the pandemic, but other practices, such as finance and insolvency and restructuring, surged.

Revenue hit $646.6 million in 2020, down 3.5% from $669.7 million in 2019. With 5% fewer lawyers, revenue per lawyer (RPL) topped seven figures with $1.009 million, up 1.6% when compared with $993,000 the year before.
