The first and only thing many people know about FisherBroyles is that it's a virtual firm.

FisherBroyles is indeed a virtual firm, in the sense that it has little to no office space. Its partners (the firm does not hire associates) are scattered across the country—from Palo Alto, California, to Salt Lake City to Naples, Florida. Managing partners James Fisher and Kevin Broyles prefer to call it a "distributed" firm.

Nowadays, nearly every firm is virtual—from corporate giants such as Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom to litigation powerhouses like Latham & Watkins—while the pandemic shuts attorneys and staff out of their offices in order to stem the spread of COVID-19. But there is perhaps no firm that has benefited more from the global shift to remote work than FisherBroyles.
