We rank all Am Law 200 firms in three metrics: revenue per lawyer (the best measure of law firm health), profits per equity partner and value per lawyer. While Am Law 100 firms dominate these lists, a few Second Hundred firms make the cut.
Second Hundred firms Irell & Manella and Choate Hall & Stewart made top-20 RPL and VPL lists. Kobre & Kim made the top-RPL ranking, and Munger, Tolles & Olson made the VPL list. One Second Hundred firm was among the top 20 in PEP: Cole, Scott & Kissane. Revenue per lawyer, profits per partner and value per lawyer are all rounded to the nearest $1,000.
