How law firms did financially last year during the pandemic seems like it will have a pretty big impact on how they view, use and fund their marketing and business development efforts moving forward.

A new survey from LexisNexis asked respondents to weigh a variety of business development and marketing factors against the backdrop of the pandemic.

A majority of respondents felt that marketing and business development were the hardest-hit element of their firm's business. High-performing firms had a much more positive opinion of their firm's BD efforts. And a number of firms thought the pandemic was actually good for business.
