Few law firms have publicly and explicitly said they are requiring COVID-19 vaccinations for workers to return to offices. But several big firms are coming very close to it now, by mandating that unvaccinated employees have negative tests before returning to the office or implementing other, inconvenient restrictions.

Davis Wright Tremaine was the first, and so far only, Am Law 200 firm to announce publicly that it will require workers to prove they’ve been vaccinated before they can come back to the office. But firms like Weil, Gotshal & Manges; Sullivan & Cromwell; Jenner & Block; and Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom are either strongly encouraging it, implicitly incentivizing it or both by requiring employees who haven’t gotten vaccine shots to undergo COVID-19 testing.
