Sharon Crane, one of two executive directors at Davis Polk & Wardwell since 2014, has left the firm to become president at continuing legal education company Practising Law Institute, PLI announced Friday. 

Davis Polk, which saw its best financial year in 2020, with soaring revenue and profits, could not immediately comment on who may next fill Crane’s executive director role at the firm. In that position, Crane created and executed strategies that ensured the successful operation of the firm, the PLI announcement said.
