US Firms Benefit From Increased M&A Activity in Latin America
Mergermarket tallies show White & Case led the region by deal value during the first six months of 2021, followed by Brazil's Pinheiro Neto Advogados.

U.S. law firms advised on more mergers and acquisitions deals related to Latin America in the first half of 2021 than they had in the same period of last year, as cross-border investment picked up both within the region and with counterparts in North America, Europe and Asia.
White & Case took the top spot on Mergermarket's global M&A rankings for working on the highest value deals in the first half of 2021, having worked on 11 deals worth $21 billion. For the same period in 2020, when it ranked No. 7, the firm advised on deals valued at $1.2 billion.
