In a lateral market where movement is happening at rates way above average, Kirkland & Ellis is still outpacing much of Big Law when it comes to associates in and out, according to data from Decipher.

According to the competitive intelligence firm, which tracks U.S. lateral attorney moves between law firms, the largest U.S. law firm by revenue was second in associate hires through the first six months of this year, with 202 additions. It trailed only Latham & Watkins, which brought in 274 associates between January and June.
