The talent war may not be quite as intense in Chicago. But financial services firm Murphy & McGonigle is drawing talent from one of the city’s main money institutions.

The New York and D.C.-based boutique, which opened shop in the Windy City during the pandemic, has added Ross Pazzol, a former assistant general counsel at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. The pickup follows the firm’s addition of William Walsh, CME’s former senior enforcement counsel, in July.
