Baker McKenzie might have one of the strongest law firm brands in the world. But the firm now faces the risk of clients questioning its integrity, after a blockbuster report dropped Monday linking the firm to several alleged international money launderers.

The global firm has sat atop the Acritas Global Elite Law Firm Brand Index for 11 years running, owing in part to its high level of recognition for cross-border deals. Yet that cross-border work, particularly on tax-related matters, has brought the firm to the attention of the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists.
