A pair of attorneys charged with firebombing a New York City Police Department vehicle during protests for racial justice in Brooklyn in May 2020 pleaded guilty Thursday to one count of possessing or making a destructive device in Brooklyn federal court.

The sentencing for Colinford Mattis, who has been suspended without pay from his job as an associate at Pryor Cashman for more than a year, and tenants’ attorney Urooj Rahman is tentatively scheduled for Feb. 8.
